The Singleton of Glen Ord 15 Year Old is a single malt in a 70cl bottle from the only single malt distillery still working on the Black Isle. Eight of its years were spent in wine casks, and it has a deep amber colour.
The nose combines red wine, oak spice and fruit. On the palate, barley-sugar sweetness is balanced by salt and crisp gooseberry, and the texture is very smooth. The finish ends on a peppery note.
