This is the 2025 Special Release from The Singleton of Glen Ord, called Into the Blue. It is a 17 year old single malt bottled at 55.5% in a 70cl bottle.
It combines two Glen Ord spirits: one matured in Mexican ex-mezcal casks, the other in second-fill Spanish sherry casks. Together they give rich fruit and aromatic spices on the nose. The texture is soft, the taste sweet and lightly salty, with rich ginger notes that add strength to a savoury finish.
