The Talisman is a blended Scotch from J & W Hardie, linked to Tomatin Distillery, in a one litre bottle. It has a high proportion of malt in the blend.
The nose is clean and soft, with gentle vanilla and orange and a little smoke in the background. The palate is young and fresh, balancing mellow grain with ripe, fruity malt, with hints of honey, vanilla, apple and a touch of peat, plus a faint heathery note.
The finish is medium and soft, fading slowly through vanilla and light smoke.
