An Irish single malt bottled at 46%, distilled at the Boann distillery on the east coast of Ireland. It was first matured in American bourbon casks, then finished for at least 12 months in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks.
The nose brings sherry, dried fruit, raisins, cherry, sultanas, candied orange and brown sugar. On the palate come touches of vanilla alongside dried fruit and brown sugar, with walnuts, citrus and a hint of leather. The finish is long and pleasant, with walnuts and dark chocolate.
