The Wild North is a Canadian rye whisky matured for five years and bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. It is made in the Canadian rye style and is described as robust and full of character, yet smooth for its age.
It can be drunk neat or used in a strong cocktail.
The nose has light spices, maple, grain and soft vanilla. The palate is spicy and sweet at once, with pepper, wood, caramel and soft rye. The finish is medium to long, warm and slightly sweet, with a hint of wood smoke.
