This Kentucky straight bourbon is made from the high rye recipe of Barton 1792 Distillery and bottled at 46.7% (93.4 proof) in a 75cl bottle.
It was aged for five to six years in new charred American oak, then finished for two to four years in Cognac casks.
The nose is fruit and citrus with slightly herbal notes and traces of jasmine and lavender. On the palate come orange, apricot and vanilla, giving way to earthy undertones. The finish is toasted oak and cedar.
