This is a 14 year old Highland single malt from an undisclosed distillery, bottled by the independent bottler Thompson Bros. of Dornoch. It is bottled at a natural cask strength of 46.1% ABV, with natural colour and no chill filtration.
The last 3 of its 14 years were spent in an ex-rum cask, which previously held rum.
Thompson Bros. describe it as rich, dark and sticky, with a big, oily texture and a distinct rummy funk sitting alongside the Highland spirit.
