Thompson Bros. Mystery Malt Batch 5 (46.3%)

Mystery Malt Batch 5 is a single malt release from Thompson Bros., bottled at 46.3% ABV in opaque black glass. Each bottle holds one of 38 different single malt whiskies, aged between 5 and 27 years. What is inside stays hidden: the distillery and age are revealed only once the bottle is opened, with the details placed under the capsule and on a sticker on the cork. The casks behind the batch range from refill hogsheads and first fill barrels to sherry butts and a rye cask.
