Tincup Straight Bourbon is a straight bourbon whiskey in a 175cl bottle, bottled at 42%. The bourbon is distilled at MGP in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, from a high-rye mashbill of 64% corn, 32% rye and 4% malted barley, and matured in charred American oak.
A small amount of single malt from Stranahan's in Denver, Colorado, is blended in before bottling, and the whiskey is cut with Rocky Mountain water.
The nose offers cherry cola, vanilla, caramel and baking spice, with orange oil. The palate is sweet with caramel and maple syrup, then cherry, orange and cinnamon, with a peppery warmth. The finish is medium to long, with rye spice, vanilla and charred oak.
