This is a 23-year-old single malt from Tobermory, the distillery on the Isle of Mull in Scotland, founded in 1798. After long ageing in oak, it was finished in Oloroso sherry casks and is bottled at 46.3% ABV.
The nose offers dried fruit, figs and raisins with spiced oak and a hint of honey. The palate is velvety, with candied fruit, butterscotch and dark chocolate, plus a light sherry note. The finish is long, with ripe fruit and soft wood.
