A 28 year old Tobermory distilled in 1995 and bottled in 2024 by Murray McDavid for its Mission Gold series, at 49.8% ABV. After nearly three decades in cask it was double matured in a refill wine barrique, and 573 bottles were produced.
The wine cask finish adds soft red fruit, gentle spice and polished oak to the coastal, slightly waxy spirit. It is bottled without chill-filtration or added colour.
