A 12-year-old Highland single malt from Tomatin, a distillery founded in 1897. It is matured in a combination of ex-bourbon, ex-sherry and European oak casks.
The nose opens with heather and the resinous notes of pine and cedar, alongside mango, apple and pear and a sweet crème caramel note. The palate is soft, with light fruit, malty touches and gentle nuttiness, and vanilla and caramel give it a honeyed texture. The finish is full and distinctly buttery, with light herbal spice and lingering fruit.
