Tomatin – 12 Year Old Single Malt Italian Collection Amarone Edition (46%)

This 12 year old Tomatin single malt is the Amarone edition of the distillery's Italian Collection, bottled at 46%. The spirit was distilled on 6 December 2010 and spent ten years in ex-bourbon oak casks. On 10 February 2021 it was moved for a further two years into ex-Amarone wine casks. The nose leads with poached pears and old-fashioned rhubarb and custard sweets. On the palate, strawberry jam sits alongside Turkish delight and light buttery pastry. The finish is rich, with cinnamon-spiced red apple.
