Tomatin – 12 Year Old Triple Cask Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky (43%)

Tomatin 12 Year Old Triple Cask is a Highland single malt from a distillery founded in 1897, bottled at 43% ABV. It is matured in a combination of traditional Scotch whisky casks, ex-bourbon casks and ex-Spanish sherry casks. The distillery uses soft water from the Alt-na-Frith and tall, slim copper stills, and describes the style as the softer side of the Highlands. The nose is floral, with wild heather, pine and a hint of cedar. The palate is full and soft: crème caramel, apples, pears and ripe mango, with gentle maltiness and vanilla. The finish is long and creamy.
