This is a 12 year old single malt whisky from Tomatin, in a one-litre bottle at 43% ABV. Sherry-scented wood is used with a light touch in its maturation.
The nose is complex, with malt and fruit and a very discreet hint of peat. On the palate there are apple, pear and malt, with a very faint nuttiness, all lifted by the sherry wood.
The finish is very long.
