Tomatin 12 Years is a Highland single malt from the Tomatin distillery. It is first matured in ex-bourbon casks, then given a further six to nine months in ex-Oloroso sherry casks.
The nose is malty and fruity, with a touch of smoke. On the palate come stewed apple, pear and malt, with light sherry notes and nuts. The finish is soft and sweet.
