This is a 14-year-old Highland single malt from Tomatin, distilled in 2008 and bottled by Thompson Brothers at 50% in a 70cl bottle. Only 490 bottles were produced. The whisky was first matured in a hogshead, then moved to a Cognac barrique for a 27-month finish. Tomatin was founded in 1897. Its main expansion ran from 1956 to 1974, when the number of stills rose from 2 to 23.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
