Tomatin 14 Year Old is a Highland single malt that joined the distillery's core range in 2014. It is bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky is matured in bourbon barrels together with specially chosen Port casks, which add a wine-like sweetness.
The nose is fairly powerful, with red berries, grapes, vanilla, oak and a little white pepper. On the palate there is dark chocolate with strawberries, crushed almonds, walnuts and Victoria sponge with jam and cream, set around an oaky centre. The finish is fruity.
