Tomatin 14 Year Old is a Highland single malt matured in bourbon barrels and tawny port casks, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour.
The port casks come from Symington Family Estates in Portugal and held tawny port for around fifty years. They give the whisky its soft, sweet and fruit-led character.
The nose combines expressive red berries with honeyed sweetness and strong toffee notes. On the palate there are bright fruit notes and nuts, soft and sweet. The finish is lasting and smooth, recalling fruit salad.
