Tomatin 14 Year Old Portwood is a Highland single malt from Tomatin Distillery, matured for fourteen years and finished in port wood. The distillery was founded in 1897 in an isolated spot with no local workforce, and the company built housing for its staff. It has been the heart of its community ever since.
The nose is strong with red berries and grapes, alongside vanilla, oak and a little white pepper. On the palate come dark chocolate with strawberries, ground almonds, walnuts, Victoria sponge and oak. The finish is full and long, with plenty of fruit.
