Tomatin – 14 Years Port Wood Finish

Tomatin 14 Years Port Wood Finish is a Highland single malt that joined the distillery's standard range in 2014. It matured in ex-bourbon casks and in carefully chosen ex-port casks, which give it a sweetness reminiscent of wine. It is the first Tomatin bottling finished in tawny port casks. The nose offers honeydew melon, red berries and baked apples, with caramel, butterscotch, sweet honey and dark chocolate. On the palate come fruit and nuts: peach, apricot, mango, plum, walnut and pecan. The finish is a mild, lingering fruit salad.
