Tomatin – 15 Year Old 2010 The Old Friends Bourbon Hogshead (70cl, 55.5%)

This is a 15 year old Highland single malt from Tomatin, bottled by The Old Friends from a single bourbon hogshead, cask 1121/2010. It was distilled in February 2010 and bottled in April 2025, yielding 316 bottles at a cask strength of 55.5% in a 70cl bottle. It is natural colour and non-chill-filtered. The nose begins with sweet vanilla, ripe apples and pears, with light malt and gentle spice. On the palate come baked apples, caramel and toffee, with pale oak and fine spice adding depth. The finish is medium in length, with vanilla, malt sugar and a soft, dry oak note.
