A 15 year old Highland single malt from Tomatin, the third and last release in its Portuguese Collection. It is a limited edition, in a 70cl bottle at 46% ABV.
The whisky was distilled in 2006 and matured in traditional oak, then finished in both Madeira and Port casks. It is bottled without chill-filtration.
The nose shows dried fruits, honeyed nuts and hints of cocoa. On the palate come berries, figs, malt, toffee and gentle spice, and the finish is long and warming, with lingering red fruit sweetness and a touch of oak.
