Tomatin 18 Year Old is a Highland single malt Scotch whisky in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 46% ABV without chill filtration. It was matured first in traditional oak, then finished in first-fill Oloroso sherry casks.
The distillery was founded in 1897 in the Highland foothills south of Inverness.
The nose has dried apricot, orange marmalade, dark chocolate and a little spice over old oak and sherry. The palate is full and smooth, with sweet fig, warm spices, honeycomb and roasted nuts. The finish is long, with cocoa, dates and soft oak char.
