Tomatin 18 Year Old is a Highland single malt Scotch whisky, bottled at 46% in a 700ml bottle. The expression was relaunched in 2016.
It is finished in first-fill oloroso sherry butts, which add dark chocolate and citrus to the honey and soft spice.
The nose is rich and sherried, with apples, oranges and sultanas. The palate is sweet and honeyed, with citrus, fruit cake, chocolate and spice. A long, warming spice finish fades to leave fruit and chocolate.
