This single cask Highland single malt was released by Tomatin to mark the distillery's 125th anniversary. It was distilled in 1993 and matured for 28 years in an ex-Oloroso sherry butt, then bottled at 57.3% in an outturn of 501 bottles.
The nose shows tropical fruit, ginger biscuits, butterscotch and vanilla ice cream, with sherry and milk chocolate. The palate is woody and malty, less sweet than the nose, with clove and cardamom spice.
The finish is soft, creamy and elegant, with a hint of spice.
