This is a Highland single malt from Tomatin, drawn from a single Pedro Ximénez sherry butt chosen by Master Distiller Graham Eunson. The whisky was distilled in 2001, bottled in 2022 and released as a UK exclusive limited edition at a natural cask strength of 57.4% ABV.
The nose offers maple syrup and rum-soaked sultanas, with dark chocolate and espresso behind them. On the palate come cherry, plum liqueur and Jamaican ginger cake. The finish balances sweetness with a gentle, bittersweet edge.
