A single cask Tomatin from the Highlands, distilled in 2002 and bottled at a cask strength of 57.3% in a 70cl bottle. It is 14 years old, and the outturn is 300 bottles. The whisky matured in a re-charred American oak hogshead and was then finished in ex-red wine casks, which adds a rich, vinous character. The nose shows dark fruit, red wine, oak and soft spices. The palate is powerful, with cherries, red berries, caramel and toasted wood. The finish is long, warm, intense and spicy.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
