Tomatin – 2003/2014 Single Cask Danish Retailers (50%)

This is a single cask Tomatin, a Highland malt distilled on 23 October 2003 and bottled on 28 July 2014 at 50% ABV. It matured in a first-fill bourbon barrel and yielded 228 bottles. Danish retailers chose the cask on a trip to Scotland, and it was also picked as part of the Specially Selected Celebration Range. The nose combines vanilla, honey, pistachio nuts, lemon sorbet and orange. On the palate are honey, dried fruits, spice, malt and chocolate. The finish brings spices, vanilla and citrus fruits.
