Tomatin 2008 is a 12-year-old single malt from the French Collection, a series in which the whisky matures in French wine barrels. This edition was finished in Sauternes barriques and is bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle.
Only 6000 bottles were released. The nose is honey, yellow apple, white grapes and vanilla. The palate brings peach, pineapple, light honey sweetness and soft oak, and the finish is elegant and slightly spicy, with subtle wine influences.
