This is a Tomatin single malt from 2009, drawn from Tempranillo casks and bottled at 60.3% in a 70cl bottle. It carries the names of Flickenschild and Whiskyhort.
The Highland distillery occupies a site where cattle drovers were buying whisky in the 15th century, and it was legalised in 1897. The A9 between Perth and Inverness runs close by. Tomatin is one of the largest distilleries in Scotland, and most of its whisky is used for blends.
