Tomatin – 2011 Cadenhead (70cl, 51.3%)

This 2011 Tomatin is a Highland single malt bottled by Cadenhead at 51.3%. It comes in a 70cl bottle and is part of the Chairman's Stock range. Tomatin lies close to the A9 between Perth and Inverness. Cattle drovers were buying whisky here in the 15th century, the distillery was legalised in 1897, and it is now one of the largest in Scotland. Much of its production goes into blends, which makes an independent single malt bottling a useful way to see the distillery on its own.
