This is a Tomatin single malt from the 2010 vintage, drawn from Barolo casks and bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It is a distillery bottling and part of The Italian Collection. Tomatin is a Highland distillery on a site where cattle drovers bought whisky as far back as the 15th century. It was legalised in 1897 and the A9 between Perth and Inverness passes nearby. It ranks among the largest distilleries in Scotland, and much of its output goes into blends.
