This is a ten-year-old Tomatin distilled in 2010 and released in autumn 2021 by Dram Mor Group. It was finished in a first-fill White Port cask, and only 178 bottles were filled.
On the nose it opens with sweet golden barley, moving to roasted caramel, dried berries and cocoa with a touch of cut grass. The palate begins with golden syrup, then a gently astringent oak note and a notably oily texture carrying vanilla, toasted oats, red apples and toffee. The long finish brings honey, soft cocoa, oak and milk chocolate.
