This is a Highland single malt from Tomatin, distilled in 2011 and bottled in 2023 by Gordon & MacPhail for its Discovery series. It is 11 years old and bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky matured in bourbon casks. It is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour.
The nose combines ripe tropical fruit, including pineapple, mango and banana, with green apples and a touch of citrus. The palate is full-bodied, with white peach, melon and a restrained oak spice. The finish is medium in length and fruity, with subtle herbal notes.
