Tomatin 36 Years Old is a Highland single malt released in small batches, in this case Batch 11. Its casks include oloroso sherry butts, which add winter spice to the whisky.
The nose is vibrant, fruity and floral, with tropical fruit and hints of winter spice. The palate is rich but sweet, with the fruit giving way to oak, raw heather honey and roasted chestnuts.
The finish is notably long, with fruity notes fading into winter spice.
