Tomatin – 5 Virtues Water Edition (70cl, 46%)

This is a Highland single malt from Tomatin, the fifth release in its 5 Virtues series, which here represents water. It is a limited edition of 6000 bottles, bottled at 46% abv. The water comes from the Alt-na-Frith burn, which runs through the distillery grounds and is drawn throughout the year. The spirit was distilled in winter, when less contact with the copper stills is said to enrich the final flavour. It is non-chill filtered and of natural colour.
