Tomatin – Cask Strength Batch 1 (57.5%)

Tomatin Cask Strength is a Highland single malt bottled at 57.5%, and the first cask strength expression added to the distillery's standard range. This is Batch 1. It combines whisky from ex-bourbon and ex-Oloroso sherry casks. It is bottled at natural colour, unfiltered and undiluted. The nose offers orange, pear and walnuts. On the palate come marzipan, burnt sugar, toasted malt, chestnuts, leather and vanilla, and the finish is dry with a firm spice.
