Tomatin – Cask Strength Edition (70cl, 57.5%)

Tomatin Cask Strength Edition is a Highland single malt bottled at 57.5% in a 70cl bottle. It joined Tomatin's core range in 2015 as its first cask strength bottling. The whisky matures in first-fill ex-bourbon casks and ex-Oloroso sherry casks. Whiskies aged fully in each type of cask are married together, so this is not a sherry finish. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour. The nose brings golden syrup and ginger biscuits. Malt bread and marzipan come together on the palate, and the finish is long, dry and spicy.
