Tomatin Cù Bòcan 12 Year Old Batch #1 is a lightly peated Highland single malt, matured in rum casks from Guyana and Barbados. It is the first batch in a permanent series in which each release takes its character from different Caribbean rum casks. It is bottled at 46%, with natural colour and without chill-filtering.
Tomatin distils the smoky spirit for the Cù Bòcan range during one week of the year.
The nose has fresh mango with sea salt, smoke, ginger cake and marshmallow. The palate brings grilled pineapple, salted white chocolate and buttery cinnamon. The finish has more tropical fruit, candied ginger and light smoke.
