Tomatin – Cù Bòcan 12 Year Old Rum Cask Limited Edition (70cl, 46%)

Cù Bòcan 12 Year Old Rum Cask is Batch 1 from Tomatin's lightly peated Cù Bòcan range, finished in former rum casks from Guyana and Barbados. The Barbados casks bring fresh tropical fruit and maritime notes, while those from Guyana add depth and warming spice. The whisky was distilled on 10 December 2010 and released in May 2023, with a worldwide outturn of 12,000 bottles. It is bottled at 46%, non-chill-filtered and without added colour. On the nose are fresh mango, a hint of salt and smoke, with ginger cake and marshmallow. The palate brings grilled pineapple, salted white chocolate and buttery cinnamon, and the finish keeps tropical fruit, candied ginger and fine smoke.
