Tomatin Cù Bòcan 12 Years Batch 1 is a Highland single malt made from lightly peated Scottish barley. It was distilled at Tomatin on 10 December 2010 and finished in a mixture of rum casks from Guyana and Barbados. It is bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. The Barbados casks bring fresh tropical fruit and maritime notes, while the Guyana casks add depth and warming spice. The nose is fresh sea air with charred driftwood, grilled pineapple, banana and ginger. On the palate come white chocolate, banana and cinnamon apples, with white pepper and candied nuts. The finish is long, with coastal notes, warming spice, gentle campfire smoke and sweet rum.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
