This Tomatin Cù Bòcan is a 28 year old single malt, distilled on 2 December 1988 and bottled on 23 May 2016 at 51.5% in a 70cl bottle. It is a limited edition of 2,200 bottles, and this one is bottle 0412. It was made by marrying whisky from a refill hogshead and a refill sherry butt, and it is peatier than the distillery's usual light malts. The Cù Bòcan name follows the series' spooky theme, taken from a mythical Highland hellhound rumoured to haunt the village of Tomatin.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
