Cu Bocan Creation #3 is a lightly peated Highland single malt from Tomatin, finished in Cabernet Sauvignon wine casks. It is bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle, at natural colour and without chill filtration.
The wine-cask finish brings red fruit and exotic spice to the lightly peated spirit, evoking a Moroccan souk.
The nose offers light smoke, strawberries in balsamic vinegar, Moroccan spice, citrus and tropical fruit. The palate is rich and layered, with red fruit, spice and a gentle wine-cask sweetness. The finish is long and warming, with smoke, spice and a touch of dark fruit.
