This is a Tomatin single malt from the Gordon & MacPhail Discovery range, in a 70cl bottle. It was matured in bourbon casks and has a very pale yellow colour.
The nose is fragrant with lemon zest, rich tropical fruit and desiccated coconut, with honeydew melon and walnut developing. On the palate, dried pineapple sits with ripe green apple and rich honey, and brown sugar and dried banana follow. The finish is full, with lasting malted biscuit and charred oak.
