Tomatin Legacy is a Highlands single malt from the Tomatin distillery, which stands on the edge of the Monadhliath Mountains. It is bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle.
Bourbon cask maturation is combined with a small portion of whisky matured in oak casks, giving vanilla, citrus, fruit and a light spiciness.
The nose is fresh, with lemon and other citrus, green apple, pear, vanilla and a light floral sweetness. The palate is soft and round, with vanilla, citrus, honey and ripe fruit, plus gentle spice and malt. The finish is soft and refreshing, with vanilla, citrus and sweet fruit.
