This is a Highland single malt Scotch whisky from Tomatin, matured in a combination of bourbon and virgin oak casks. It is bottled at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
Tomatin has distilled since 1897, using soft water from the Alt-na-Frith Burn and tall, slim copper stills.
The nose has vanilla pods, marshmallow and ripe pineapple with sweet lime. The palate is soft, with caramel, lemon sorbet and a touch of sponge cake, plus pepper and a hint of pine. The finish is clean and clear.
