Tomatin – Legacy (70cl, 43%)

Tomatin Legacy is a single malt Scotch whisky from Tomatin Distillery, bottled at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The name nods to the distillery's history: when it was established in 1897 there was no local workforce, so the company built homes for its craftsmen, and it remains one of the few distilleries to do so. The whisky is matured in a combination of Bourbon barrels and Virgin Oak casks, which bring a light sweetness. The nose offers vanilla, marshmallow, pineapple and lemon. On the palate come gentle candy, pine, lemon sherbet, apples and sponge cake, ahead of a light, clean finish.
