Tomatin Legacy is a Highland single malt without an age statement, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle.
It is matured in a combination of ex-bourbon and virgin oak casks. The virgin oak adds a creamy vanilla note to the Highland style, alongside the softer character of the ex-bourbon wood.
The nose is fresh, with green apple, vanilla sponge and a touch of lemon zest over soft oak. The palate is creamy, with sweet malt, tropical fruit, light spice, toasted marshmallow and white chocolate. The finish is smooth, with subtle citrus and soft oak.
