This is a 14 year old Highland single malt from Tomatin, matured in port casks and bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The port casks add depth, fruit and sweetness to Tomatin's soft character, with red fruit, gentle oak and sweeter notes running through it.
The nose is rich with red fruit, ripe berries and dried fruit, along with vanilla, honey and soft spice. On the palate come cherries, red berries, plums and sweet vanilla, with soft wood for balance. The finish is long and smooth, with red fruit, vanilla, honey and light spice.
